pH

pH Sensor

The PH-1000 pH sensor reliably measures pH levels of fluids.

PH-1000’s feature a field replaceable, gel-filled pH electrode. The electrode’s reference is protected by a special porous PTFE ring which is impregnated with a special conductive gel.

The protection ring prevents chemical or biological fouling from reaching the reference, extending the life of the combination electrode.

At the end of its life, the electrode can be replaced by the user in the field without the need to return the sensor to the factory.

The PH-1000 is suitable for most fluids and liquids, it is by no means restricted to freshwater. Many of our clients utilise the sensors in sewer monitoring, estuaries, and industrial processes. All of which require robust sensors to perform every day.

  • Sewer monitoring
  • Monitoring of streams and rivers, lakes, and urban waterways
  • Catchment studies and forestry management
  • Water supply storages including stratification studies
  • Water and wastewater treatment monitoring
  • Groundwater analysis and monitoring
  • Industrial process, Acid Sulphate studies
  • Tidal, estuary and oceanographic monitoring

Serial or Analogue Ouput?

The PH-1000 series can have either an analogue output (DO-1000A) or an integrated logger with serial output (DO-1000L).

PH-1000A analogue sensors have a 4-20mA output (V output is possible upon request).

PH-1000L logging sensors have either RS-232, RS-485, or SDI-12 when the SDI-12 adaptor is connected.
*Optional internal battery pack is available for logging sensors.

Australian Made

Greenspan has made our range of water quality sensors in Australia for over two decades. Our experience has allowed us to design sensors that reliably deliver accurate data in the harshest environments Australia has to offer.

With every Greenspan water quality sensor, you receive; local support from our experienced sales and service technicians, local repairs and recalibration from our Melbourne-based engineers, and access to local spares from our factory in Melbourne. No other brand of water quality sensor can offer such exceptional service.
